2024 is in full steam, and as usual DC has unveiled their full roaster of animated movies and series for the leap year. This year promises to be exciting as we are getting everything from the Crisis on Infinite Earths Trilogy to a Watchmen Animated Movie and so much more.
Please note, though all of these DC animated films movies and series have been announced for 2024, we don’t have much information on most of them. But don’t worry, just like the Upcoming DC animated movies of 2023 and 2022, we will update this post as more information comes out.
And so, without further delay, here are the Top Nine Upcoming DC Animated Movies in 2024.
1. Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One (January 23rd, 2024)

With the unstoppable anti-matter wave bearing down on the DC Tomorrowverse, The Monitor gathers great heroes from multiple earths to save all of reality from Armageddon.

3. Suicide Squad ISEKAI (June 27th, 2024)

Harley Quinn, The Joker, and the Suicide Squad cause havoc in ISEKAI*, an all-new original anime series from Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio. *ISEKAI (異世界): Term for “another world” in Japanese.

5. Kite Man: Hell Yeah! (Season 1) July 18th, 2024)

Kite Man: Hell Yeah! (Season 1) is an upcoming spin-off series from the Harley Quinn adult animated TV show. The new HBO Max show will follow the adventures of Minor Gotham Villain, Kite Man, as he commits crimes to support the purchase of Noonan’s Gotham’s seediest dive bar.
Kite Man: Hell Yeah! is scheduled to premiere on Max sometime in 2024.
6. Batman: Caped Crusader (August 1st, 2024)

Batman: Caped Crusader is an animated Batman series, that will debut on Prime Video sometime in 2024. However, no further details have been revealed.
7. Watchmen Animated Movie (August 13th, 2024)

Last year, DC announced it would release a Watchmen Animated movie based on the DC iconic graphic novel of the same name. No further details have been revealed so far, but DC fans will remember that the comic has served as an inspiration for previous works, including 2009’s Watchmen live-action movie by Zack Snyder, as well as the 2019 sequel series by HBO.
If the animated movie lives up to past two adaptations, then I’m sure we are in for a show.
8. Creature Commandos (December 5th, 2024)

Creature Commandos is the first entry in James Gunn’s New DCU. The animated movie will follow a military superhuman team composed of a Werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, a gorgon, and of course, a Human Leader.
9. Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires (TBA in 2024)

After his father Toltecatzin, is murdered by Spanish Conquistadors, A young Aztec boy named Yohualli Coatl escapes to Tenochtitlan to warn King Moctezuma and his high priest, Yoka, of the imminent danger.
Yohualli then trains with his mentor and assistant, Acatzin, using the temple of Tzinacan, the bat god, as a lair to develop equipment and weaponry to confront the Spaniard invasion, protect Moctezuma’s temple, and avenge his father’s death.
