Where to Watch
Release Date: April 16th, 2021.
The first Mortal Kombat trailer is finally here, and it’s so bloody and brutal that Warner Bros had to place an age restriction on the full trailer. But asides from the incredibly violent Kombat we were all praying for, the trailer also introduces the movie’s cast, as well as their iconic characters.
Across the trailer, we see Incredible moves from fan favorites such as Subzero (Joe Taslim), Jax (Mehcad Brooks), Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee), Cole(Lewis Tan), Mileena(Sisi Stringer), Hanzo Hasashi (A.k.a Scorpion- Hiroyuki Sanada), Liu Kang(Ludi Lin), Kung Lao(Max Huang) and Raiden(Tadanobu Asano).
Even legendary Mortal Kombat villains such as Shang Tsung(Chin Han), Kano(Josh Lawson), and Goro are not left out. And though the trailer teases The Lord of Outworld Shao Kahn, there’s still no word if he will be in the movie. But fingers crossed.
Mortal Kombat will hit HBO Max and Theaters on April 16th. But In the meantime, you can check out Mortal Kombat’s even bloodier 2020 animated movie, titled Scorpion’s Revenge.
