-“An idea is like a virus. Resilient. Highly contagious. It can grow to define or destroy you”
Inception star’s film legend Leonardo DiCaprio as an expert thief who specializes in extracting information from the subconscious of his target’s mind, using dream-sharing technology.
But when this skilled crook gets an opportunity to escape his criminal past, he must now find a way to achieve the inverse and implant an idea into the mind of his target.
Inception wastes no time introducing the viewer to the rules of the dream world. Using fantastic visual scenes, it breaks down concepts key to the plot in the simplest way possible. And then builds on these ideas to create the exciting concept that is “INCEPTION.”
The mission itself appears simple enough. Leonardo DiCaprio and his crew infiltrate the subconscious of their target and implant idea an into his mind. And when he wakes up from the dream, he unknowingly does their bidding.
But as the crew of Inception (played by this fantastic cast) later explain, things are not that as simple.
BUT WOULD YOU EXPECT ANYTHING LESS FROM A CHRISTOPHER NOLAN FILM?
However, Inception isn’t all about implanting ideas into people’s minds (that would be weird). Its side plot shows how fast acting and dangerous a false idea can be. How it can grow to either define a person or destroy them from within.
Despite the multiple layers of its story, Inception distinguishes itself from other science fictions through Crafty storytelling, beautiful visual effects, and stunning performances.
